In some situations, it is more time efficient to send your dog to "boot camp" for his basic training.  When this option is chosen, your dog comes to stay with me for a minimum of two weeks, (sometimes longer, depending on the needs) and I do the desired training with him. When he returns home, two private lessons with the owner are included.  A wide variety of skills can be taught during board and train, depending on the dog's aptitude and any prior foundational training.

Puppy Level

Six weeks of private training lessons to lay the foundation for a well-mannered dog.  Includes early socialization, beginning leash work and basic commands, such as sit, down, come, as well as solutions for problematic puppy behaviors, such as jumping, mouthing, nuisance barking, and house training.

 

Basic Obedience

Six to eight weeks of private training for dogs who are 5 months and older.  Includes basic commands of sit, down, come, stay, off,

leave it, and proper heeling on a leash, as well as addressing any behavioral issues that your dog may be exhibiting (fear issues, resource guarding, dog aggression, etc.)  

 

Advanced

Customized training package for owners who have specific goals, including competitive obedience sports.  Your dog must complete Basic Obedience as a prerequisite.  Advanced training will include off-leash heeling, off-leash stay work, distraction, and new environments.

Retrieving and direct jumps, Rally course, and hand signals are also options.
